Choosing a Bouquet That Feels Personal

A few simple questions can turn a lovely bunch of flowers into a gift that feels unmistakably meant for them.

Start with the person, not the flower list. Think about the colours they wear, the room they spend time in and the small things that make them smile.

Begin with the feeling

Do you want the bouquet to feel bright and celebratory, soft and comforting, or a little bit wild? A clear feeling gives your florist a useful starting point without boxing the design in.

Choose a palette they’ll enjoy

A favourite colour can be a helpful clue, but it need not dictate every stem. We often combine a familiar colour with gentle contrasts in texture and shape.

A personal bouquet is less about getting every flower right and more about showing that you paid attention.

Add one personal detail

A handwritten card, a flower they remember from home, or a simple note about the occasion makes the whole gesture more meaningful.

Ask for guidance if you’re unsure. Our custom bouquets start at $75 and are made fresh in Brisbane.
